Chef Point Cafe is the creation of Franson and Paula Nwaeze. The husband and wife team started looking for a way to open a restaurant in 2001, but most banks were skeptical about lending them start up capital because of their lack of experience and collateral. They discovered that they were much more likely to get financing to open a gas station and once they found a filling station under construction that came up for sale, they jumped at the opportunity. In 2003, alongside his supporting wife, Paula, a full kitchen was added to the plans and he opened Chef Point Café. It is not your ordinary restaurant, the special attribute lies in the fact that the 5 star food Franson prepares is served in none other than an everyday gas station. The menu includes a cacophony of items, such as hamburgers and pizzas to Stuffed New York Strip and Rack of Lamb. Franson signature items are none other than What Nots, mushroom caps stuffed with three cheeses and baked in a savory garlic butter, and Bread Pudding in warm cognac sauce. Chef Nwaeze's cuisine quickly developed a loyal following and most of the convenience store transformed into the current Fort Worth landmark restaurant. Chef Point Café is what Franson and Paula call their success. They come to work and smile and greet people with vigor and courteousness. Chef Point Café does catering in addition to their restaurant. The seats do fill up fast so call ahead and put your name on the waiting list. To create link towards this article on your website, copy and paste the text below in your page.
