Overachieving Little Gas Station Cafe
Chef Point Cafe, the overachieving little gas station cafe, is growing.
Construction will begin next week on Chef Point's expanded dining room and bar, turning the convenience store into a full-size restaurant and bar at 5901 Watauga Road.
Obviously, Chef Point won't quit selling gas. But chef Franzon Nwaeze has turned a tiny grill into one of Texas' best-known Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives stops, building a reputation for seafood, steaks and lamb chops.
