Fort Worth Restaurant Food Is Unbelievable

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Dear Chef Point Cafe,

Ate lunch today with my wife and her cousin and her husband who are from Fort Worth. I told them I wanted to take them to your place after seeing the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode.

It was one of the best eating experiences in my life. Our waitress was wonderful and gave us some great suggestions for lunch. I got the Blacken Stuffed Chicken and my wife got the Crab Cake Pasta. Only a few times in my life has tears come into my eyes from tasting a meal, eating some things my dad use to make and meals my mother-in-law prepares from time to time. Tody I was so satisfied and filled with joy that the tears came. Our food was unbelievable, I truly mean that, plus our cousin got the Lobster Bisque and we shared and it was wonderful too.

So glad we visited and thank you and your staff for the wonderful time. Plus thanks to Franson for coming to our table and then taking more time along with Paula for a local patron to take our picture. I will be telling people that they cannot go wrong if in Dallas or Fort Worth for taking the time to come by the cafe.

Thanks again,

Jeff Brinchek

Chef Point Café for our catered event

Had to tell you how how impressed I was with the quality.   Thought the food not only looked great, but tasted great as well.   The mixed salad greens were a nice change; bow-tie pasta w/chicken and mushrooms was creamy and delicious; lasagne was excellent;  garlic bread was perfect - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; and the bread pudding was just right - buttery and sweet!  Excellent food and quality.  Whoever selected that restaurant, Chef Point Café for our catered event, evidently knew their stuff and made a great choice.

Food was MAGNIFICENT

If you are looking for a great "dive", check out the Chef's Point Cafe

I will admit, I don't watch your show religiously, and you may have featured it already, but it is definitely worth the trip here to Ft Worth.

My ex-wife told me she wanted me to take her to a gas station for dinner. My first thought, she must either be crazy or pregnant. Since she had her tubes tied, I figured she must have smoked something that is illegal in most states... My mind was fixated on bad micro waved burritos, or something as equally nasty.

The decor is nothing to write about, but the food was MAGNIFICENT!!! The full kitchen is within view, and you can see the chef Franson and Paula Nwaeze do their magic before your eyes. Whether you have the lobster bisque, or just a burger, it is definitely the best food I have ever had that came from a place with gas pumps in front.

All the food there is great, and I definitely would not recommend to The Food Channel something I did not believe in, so come on down and check it out!!! I'll even buy dinner...

Best Gourmet Food

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

I would just like to tell you about a little cafe at a gas station that has the best gourmet food in Fort Worth. You would just be amazed at the different dishes served, the taste, and the price.

I am just blown away. Every time I have friends that come to visit from out of state I insist that they come with me to dine at this fabulous restaurant. I have not had one friend that has been disappointed. I guarantee that if you had this type of food at an up-scale restaurant you would pay about 4 times the price.

Also, you have the benefit of watching them prepare the food. That within itself it phenomenal. News flash...........the owners were featured in the July issue of Paula Dean...........now that is an accomplishment in my books.

One last detail. If you take the time to get to know the owners you will be in awe of their back ground and the education that they have, and what all they have done with their lives prior to this restaurant.

Thank you for your time. Take care and good luck in your adventures.
