February Upcoming Events At Chef Point Cafe

Do you remember the last time you moved into a new home?  The boxes are still unpacked; you don’t remember where you put things; you keep going to the wrong room; and despite all that you need to get ready to go to work in the morning?  Welcome to our world….Chef Point Café…the month of January, 2012.

To say it was hectic would be an understatement!  To say it was confusing at times would be right on!  To say that it was exciting to be in our new re-modeled place and to see all of you again….well, it was and we are!

Thankfully we have moved beyond all that; we have the month of January behind us, and we have worked out the kinks in the new place and we are ready to hit the ground running in February.  Your favorite family restaurant has some exciting things in store for February so we thought we would give you a heads-up about coming events.

Fan of the Month Contest

We are always trying to find a way to get our fans involved in the fun and excitement of our Fort Worth area restaurant.  With that in mind we began a Fan of the Month Contest in January.  We are asking customers to check into Facebook each time they dine with us.  Then post a picture and/or comment about the dish they had.  Each month we will select a Fan of the Month.  The winners get bragging rights for the month, their picture and comment posted on our website, and a Chef Point T-shirt.  January’s  winner was Kellee Classey whose quote was:  “Bread pudding for five!  Next time, there will be no sharing.”  Thanks Kellee and we look forward to the great entries in February.

Wine & Dine February 13^th

A five-course meal with five different wines at Wine & Dine, all for $75 per person.  Your choice on the main course; choose between Smoked Salmon, Roasted Port Rack or Smoked Prime Rib, and be prepared to taste some great wines from Lange Twins Winery.  Call 817-656-0080 for reservations.  Here’s an idea: make this your Valentine’s Day meal and beat the crowds that are sure to appear tomorrow.

Valentine’s Day February 14^th

The day all women look forward to and the day all men had better remember.  If you really want to impress your sweetheart then what better way than a gourmet meal at our fine dining restaurant?  The menu is available on our website but we can tease you a bit by mentioning some of the dishes: Chicken Oscar….Prime Rib…Veal Osco Buco…Bread Pudding….Chocolate Mousse…are you drooling yet? Do not miss out on this great meal; you can do call-ahead seating which might be a good idea as seating is limited.

Celebrate Presidents’ Month

Check it out!  February 12^th is Lincoln’s Birthday; February 20^th is President’s Day; and February 22^nd is Washington’s Birthday.  What better way to celebrate the former leaders of our great country than to have a President’s Bacon Cheeseburger? Nothing says patriotic like a bacon cheeseburger; feel free to sing “America, The Beautiful” while you chow down on this great meal.
