red_snapper_red_sauceThe day has finally arrived. We can finally sit down and enjoy an incredible Wine & Dine featuring African cuisine and African wine, all prepared by The Peoples’ Chef, Chef Franson.  Are you ready for this great menu?  Well here it is:

  • First Course: Grilled Sea Scallops with spicy curry sauce and served with DMZ Chardonnay
  • Second Course: Corn & Black Eyed Pea Salad served with Sebeka Chenin Blanc “Steen”
  • Third Course: your choice of Oxtail, Curry Goat Meat or Smoked Red Snapper Filet, served with LaCapra Pinotage by Fairview
  • Fourth Course: Puff Puff with Mango Ice Cream served with Robertson Winery Natural Sweet Red.

That, my friends, is a meal to die for, but you won’t have to die for it. Simply call in for reservations.  A few seats are still available. The tickets are $60 per person plus tax and gratuity.  The festivities begin at 6:30 and for twenty minutes you will have the opportunity to taste another delicious wine and meet other wine enthusiasts.  At 6:50 we will seat everyone and begin dinner at 7:00.

In case you were not aware, this meal will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and $10 of every meal will go to that wonderful organization to help them fight this deadly disease.  Chef Point is built on the foundation that we should give back to our community and help others.  Since our beginning we have supported numerous charities in the metroplex.

We receive requests from many worthwhile charities but the management team at Chef Point believes that we can make a difference by concentrating on one organization.

For 2012 we will be partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association.  Over 48,000 individuals living in North Central Texas have been diagnosed with this devastating disease.  Please join us so that one day we can all live without the threat of this crippling and killing disease.

Again let us repeat that you need reservations to attend this great social event; we have had to turn away people in the past because they had not made reservations and we really hate to do that, so please call ahead so you can be a part of this.

We sure hope to see you March 27th but if for some reason you can’t make it then look forward to our April Wine & Dine.  Remember that each month we hold one of these taste treats so hopefully we will see you soon.
