Fort Worth Top Chef FransonThe votes are in and the Challenge is on!

Franson Nwaeze  of Chef Point Café has been selected as one of 10 chefs to compete in Fort Worth Top Chef competition. Chef Franson will be competing against other Fort Worth chefs. They include:
Don Agate - Eddie V's
Anthony Felli - Del Frisco's
Keith Hicks - Buttons
Eric Hunter – Fire Oak Grill
Lanny Lancarte - Lanny's Ulta Cocina Mexicana
Franson Nwaeze - Chef Point Café
Juan Rodriguez - Reata
Blaine Staniford - Grace
Michael Thomson - MICHAELS Restaurant and Ancho Chile Bar
Donatella Trotti - Nonna Tata

The 10 local chefs, as voted on by the Fort Worth, Texas magazine readers and the Top Chef Panel, will compete against each other in three culinary challenges. Five chefs will compete in the first and second challenge, with the top two from each advancing to the finals. Head Judge/Host will be Chef Tim Love-Chef Proprietor, Lonesome Dove Western Bistro & Love Shack • Food Network – Iron Chef Winner, Bravo Channel – Top Chef Masters Contestant and Top Chef Judge.

Morrison Showroom will be host to each competition on July 8, Aug. 5 and Sept. 9.
