Super Mom Wins the Fort Worth Vote

Saturday May 8th was election day in Fort Worth and the Mid Cities area of Texas. After several weeks of early voting it came down to the final vote being cast at 7pm on Saturday.

The election brought out five candidates each with different view points and agendas. The one thing they all have in common, though, is the desire to take care of their kids in the best way they know how.

With five candidates it appeared the top contenders would face off in a run off election. Our surprise came when all the votes were tabulated and one candidate won the majority vote. Fort Worth voters selected Super Mom with 55.2% of the vote.

Today's moms are so busy. Keeping track of everyone's schedule, being a taxi service and making sure the kids make it to all their activities, sometimes working outside the home and still taking care of all the responsibilities at home. It only makes sense that Super Mom came out with such a victorious win.

Here are the final results for all the votes cast.

1. Super Mom (she does it all) 55.2%

2. Old Fashion Mom (she cooks) 27.6%

3. Working Mom (works then pick ups carry out) 9.2%

4. Helicopter Mom (she hovers & swoops down to protect you) 4.6%

5. Soccer Mom (she carts you around and stands up for you) 3.4%

After the results were posted we tried to contact Super Mom for a comment. Of course she was so busy being Super Mom that she didn't have time to talk with us. Instead she sent this response, "I'm so glad to see the voters of Fort Worth came to their senses and saw that Moms do it all and we are all Super Moms".
