Chef Point Café Named a Must-Eat-at Restaurant

Travel website Jurnii.com named Watauga, Texas’ Chef Point Café one of America’s seven must-eat-at-before-you-die restaurants

December 29, 2009 – Watauga, TX – The signature dishes and unique atmosphere of a local family restaurant have not gone unnoticed. Chef Point Café has been named one of the seven must eat at diners in America, before you die.

The restaurant is located inside a Conoco gas station at 5901 Watauga Rd. The location allows customers to not only fill up their gas tanks, but re fuel their personal tanks as well, hence its motto “Fill'er-up outside, fill'er-up inside”.

The honor given to Chef Point Café came from a travel website. “We feel blessed to have been recognized like this,” said Paula Nwaeze. “It’s a great feeling to know the hard work and dedication have put us on Jurnii.com’s list.”

Chef Point Café has also earned the #5 spot on Urban Spoon’s list of the top 100 Dallas-Fort Worth restaurants. “Making the Urban Spoon list is quite an honor since the list is based upon the votes of the food-savvy visitors to that site,” said Nwaeze.

The laid back atmosphere of the restaurant brings a long list of local customers and travelers to stop in for a bite. “Our goal is to give everyone white tablecloth gourmet dining in a casual, fun atmosphere,” said Nwaeze. “Our customers can pick up at lottery ticket or flip through the PennySaver or Autorader while they enjoy a hometown gourmet meal.”
