Fresh mushroom caps stuffed with our secret three-cheese blend and baked in house-made garlic butter sauce.
The name doesn't tell you much. That's part of the fun. What Nots are one of our signature appetizers and consistently one of the things people order most during dinner.
Oxtails
If you ask Chef Franson what you should order, this is the answer.
Our oxtails are slow-braised until tender and served over rice with plenty of gravy. They're also one of our strongest-selling dinner entrées, especially during our busiest dinner hours.
Better Than Sex Fried Chicken
Yes, that's really the name.
It's marinated, seasoned with our secret blend and fried to order. The name usually gets people's attention. The chicken keeps them ordering it.
Blackened Stuffed Pork Chop
A big one. Our pork chop is stuffed with aged pepper jack and crab meat, finished with Asiago sauce, onions and tomatoes and served over linguine.
Come hungry.
Cioppino
For the seafood person at the table: New Zealand green-lipped mussels, clams, George Bank scallops, salmon and jumbo shrimp in a white wine and tomato-salmon broth.
Maple Leaf Duck
A roasted boneless half-duck with Chef's orange sauce, diced tomatoes and onions over angel hair pasta.

Bread Pudding
Don't skip dessert.
Our bread pudding has been part of the Chef Point story for years and was featured on Food Network's Guilty Pleasures. It's also genuinely one of our most ordered items during prime dinner service.
Chef Franson Nwaeze and his family opened the original Chef Point inside a Conoco gas station after they couldn't get traditional financing to open a restaurant.
The kitchen was tiny. The setting wasn't exactly what you'd expect from a chef-driven restaurant.
Then people started talking about the food.
Food Network eventually came to Chef Point for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and later returned for Guilty Pleasures.
Today, Chef Point has a full restaurant and bar in Colleyville, but Chef Franson is still in the kitchen and some of the dishes people discovered during those gas-station days are still on the menu.
Here's what our actual dinner traffic looks like:
5–7 PM is prime time.
That's when the dining room really comes alive, and Friday and Saturday are especially busy.
If you like a lively restaurant and want to be here when the room is buzzing, that's your window.
Prefer something a little quieter? Try an earlier dinner around 3–5 PM or come after the main dinner rush.
Weekend reservations are always a good idea.
You don't need a dining-room reservation to make a night of Chef Point.
A lot of our regulars eat at the bar, and the full dinner menu is available there.
Come alone, meet someone for a drink, grab dinner after work or stay for a second cocktail.
You won't be stuck with a reduced bar menu.
Chef Point is upscale-casual.
You can order a bottle of wine and make a night of it without feeling like you need to whisper across the table. On Friday around 6:30, expect the restaurant to feel lively, intimate and celebratory.
You'll see couples on dates next to families celebrating birthdays, friends meeting for dinner and regulars eating at the bar.
And if date night happens to fall on a Wednesday, bottles of wine are 30% off.

And yes, you can bring your luggage inside.
Let the host know you came straight from the airport and we can keep your bags behind the host stand while you eat.
If you're working around a flight, tell your server. We'll help pace your dinner around your schedule.
We're also convenient when dinner isn't the final destination.
Chef Point is an easy stop before heading into Arlington for AT&T Stadium or Globe Life Field, or before continuing into Dallas or Fort Worth for a concert or event.
Eat here first, tell your server what time you need to leave, and then head to the venue.
It's also a good meeting point when your group is coming from different parts of DFW.
Dinner at Chef Point can feel special without becoming a formal night out, which is why you'll see families mixed right in with date nights and celebrations.
We have a kids' menu, plenty of familiar options on the regular menu and a dining room where families don't have to worry about being perfectly quiet.
And if everyone wants to taste something different, sharing is completely normal here.
