Christmas at Chef Point

For twelve service days at the end of December, Chef Point serves brunch on weekdays and weekends.

During the 12 Days of Christmas Brunch, the regular lunch menu takes a holiday. The brunch menu is served instead, with occasional seasonal features from Chef Franson.

The dinner menu remains available all day. So if one person wants chicken and waffles and someone else wants oxtails, salmon or a pork chop, both can get what they came for.

Weekday brunch: 11 AM–3 PM
Weekend brunch: 10 AM–3 PM
Christmas Day: Closed

Chef Point is open throughout Christmas Eve, serving the brunch and dinner menus à la carte.

Come for brunch before the day gets away from you. Bring the family after church. Meet for dinner before heading home to wrap gifts, prepare Christmas dinner or get everyone settled for the night.

Dinner is usually the first Christmas Eve reservation period to fill, but the restaurant stays busy throughout the day. Reservations normally begin picking up around Thanksgiving.

We seat guests until closing. If the doors are open, we want your business.

Order a classic Bloody Mary or go all the way with the Bloody Best—our oversized version loaded with food and built to get the entire table's attention.

The full bar also includes seasonal cocktails, wine, local beer and a massive selection of whiskey, bourbon and Scotch. Whether you want brunch cocktails or a serious pour after dinner, there is plenty behind the bar to choose from.

The Family That Cannot Agree on Brunch

The brunch and dinner menus are both available. Someone can order a Monte Cristo while someone else gets oxtails, salmon or a stuffed pork chop.

The Office Holiday Gathering

December brings large office lunches, brunches and end-of-year celebrations. Reserve ahead so we can have the table ready when your group arrives.

Christmas Eve Before or After Church

Chef Point welcomes church groups throughout Christmas Eve, including larger parties arriving together after service.

Hosting Family From Out of Town

Bring them somewhere local, independent and worth recommending. Chef Franson is often in the dining room greeting regulars, shaking hands and holding babies. It feels personal because it is.

Picking Someone Up From DFW Airport

Chef Point is about seven minutes from the airport. Guests arriving with luggage can ask to have it kept behind the host stand while they eat. Wi-Fi is available, too.

You're Already Cooking for Christmas Day

Have Christmas Eve brunch or dinner with us. Save the cooking, cleaning and kitchen negotiations for tomorrow.

Chef Point started inside a Conoco gas station after Chef Franson Nwaeze and his wife, Paula, could not get traditional financing for a restaurant.

The kitchen was built behind the store, but the menu included duck, oxtails, lobster bisque and bread pudding. Word spread. Food Network came looking.

Today, Chef Point is a full restaurant in Colleyville. It is still independent, still run by the same family and still led by Chef Franson.

During Christmas, that personal side of Chef Point becomes even more noticeable. Chef Franson is often in the dining room greeting regulars, shaking hands and checking on tables. Families return, office groups gather, and travelers are welcomed like they have been coming for years.

Reservations

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended. For parties larger than five, reserve ahead so we can prepare the right table.

Large Groups

December is one of our busiest times for office parties and family gatherings. Larger parties should book as early as possible.

Christmas Eve

Dinner times fill first, although the restaurant stays busy all day. Christmas Eve reservations begin building around Thanksgiving.

Menu Availability

The brunch menu replaces weekday lunch during the 12 Days of Christmas Brunch. The dinner menu remains available all day.

Christmas Day

Chef Point is completely closed. No dining, pickups or phone service. Our team gets Christmas Day with their families.

Free and easy. We have a large on-site parking lot.
