Mother's Day at Chef Point in Colleyville — seven minutes from DFW Airport, and one Sunday a year the whole kitchen is built around her.

Chef Point started in a gas station in Watauga. Today it's a destination — three Food Network features, the front page of the New York Times, and a chef-driven kitchen that's been cooking for the metroplex for years. Mother's Day is the day all of that comes together.

Most Sundays at Chef Point are busy. Mother's Day is something else entirely. We close the regular menu, the chef builds something new, and the whole day is built around the people who don't usually get one.
